Rio Zebo is a clean poll Jacob Rio son we have retained in the stud. Zebo is a PP genotype for the polled/horn trait, he does not carry a copy of the horned gene. This is an exceptional young bull that we believe will pass the traits of his dam onto his daughters. His dam is a clean polled blue tag Red Dollar cow with a perfect calving record and a very good udder with strong suspensory ligaments. Dazzler's genestar tenderness rating as well as being polled and light pigment means he has a lot to offer the cattle industry regardless of breed. Red Dollar is a bull that we have used extensively in the stud through the 1990s and still today through AI. His daughters are some of the outstanding females in the herd. They are very long, feminine, fertile females with good udders and exceptional longevity. His sire LC Penne-e-father is a son of Cherokee LA Dollar, who was one of the top polled red sires in the Cherokee stud. Penne-E-Rama is an outstanding polled sire breeding red on red and grey on grey. He has a faultless temperament and is predominately Australian bloodlines. We have been very impressed with his progeny. A son, Fairy Springs Penne-e-Royal was one of the top priced polled bulls in our 07 Brahman Week draft, selling to Brett Nobbs for $40,000. We have retained Penne-e-Rama sons, Dazzler (P), Penne-e-Ramic (PP "true poll") and Penne-ance (P), all whom themselves are producing outstanding calves.

We thoroughly recommend this bull for crossbreeding purposes and to Droughtmaster breeders in particular. Red Domino is a light pigment son of Avondale Eveready, one of the top red sires of the 1970's. He is out of Fairy Springs Deanna, from the very fertile Fairy Springs Red Dollar line. He was used lightly in the stud before his untimely death. His progeny are a very even red colour, showing plenty of thickness, good temperament, and a fair percentage of light pigment calves.
